Victorian Automotive Cluster Trade Mission to India, 11-24 May 2008
Following the successful ‘C-VAC’ Mission to China in October 2007,EDAG Australia formed part of the Victorian Automotive Cluster’s trade mission to India.EDAG Managing Director Thomas Beck and Business Development Manager Darren Will joined delegates of 13 other Victorian automotive suppliers and service providers.
The 13-day mission visited the regions of Delhi/Gurgaon, Mumbai/Pune, Chennai/Bangalore and Kolkata.This included guided tours of the facilities of Tata, FIAT India, Bajaj and Mahindra amongst
others.
The trip also included a visit to EDAG’s Indian branch in New Delhi.Key delegates from the Government of India and the local automotive industry hosted several meetings and conferences to promote ongoing and future automotive business between India and Australia.

Singapore Airshow 19th – 24th February 2008
Building on the success of the 2006 show,EDAG again formed part of the Team Australia display
at the 2008 Singapore Airshow held at the Changi Exhibition Centre.
Managing Director Thomas Beck and Business Unit Manager Nathan Poyner (pictured here in 2006
with Chief of Air Force, Air Marshal Geoff Shepherd) were on hand to demonstrate EDAG's
capabilities from concept to production in Aerospace and Defence product development.

Victorian Automotive Cluster Mission to China 14th – 20th October 2007
EDAG Australia’s Business Development Manager, Darren Will, formed part of the Victorian Automotive Cluster’s highly successful trade mission to China in October 2007.
The group consisted of representatives of key Victorian automotive-related companies and industryaadelegates from the Victorian government. The 7-day mission visited Nanjing, Hefei, Wuhand aaShanghai. This included guided tours of the facilities of companies NAC MG, Futuris, Ford China, Cherry, JAC, Changan-Ford-Mazda, SAIC and Air International Thermal Systems.
The trip also included a visit to EDAG’s local office in Shanghai. Key delegates from the Government of China and the local automotive industry hosted several meetings and conferences to promote ongoing and future automotive business between China and Australia.

Melbourne International Motor Show, March 2nd – 12th 2007
Following a highly successful appearance at the 2006 Sydney Motor Show,EDAG Australia exhibited at Melbourne’s premier automotive event in 2007.
Centre-piece of the stand was the EDAG SUV, a unique concept based on the Porsche Cayenne. The saleable show vehicle is heavily modified with lowered roof height, improved engine performance and chassis dynamics and a full custom interior.
Managing Director Thomas Beck and Business Development Manager Darren Will were on hand to demonstrate the vehicle’s features and discuss with visitors EDAG’s full range of engineering and design services from concept through to production.
